McGill University
End Poverty Now at McGill was founded by a group of young and idealistic students in the spring of 2006. After months of research, presentations, and negotiating, the End Poverty Now vision was finally constructed. From then on, motivated students who wanted to bring on change have kept the chapter prominent at the university, hosting fundraisers and educational events while giving McGill students opportunities to volunteer locally. Our members come from all faculties and ages, and everyone is eager to play an active role in the club. Today, as an independent group at McGill, it consists of a 150+ member base, 20+ regular members, and a 7-member executive team, and these McGill students for End Poverty Now are out to make a difference.
