Overview
There are many ways for your school to become involved in addressing global poverty.
Curriculum
End Poverty Now's curriculum is based on defining poverty and investigating methods of poverty alleviation in order to educate youth on poverty-related issues that affect the world today and ways they can become involved. There are two sets of these lessons (each with three lesson plans), one targeting grades 7 and 8 and the other focused on 10 and 11. Click here for more information.
Start a chapter
Students from across Canada are organizing groups to fundraise, hold awareness events, and organize for poverty alleviation initiatives within their school. Click here for more information.
Fundraise
Consider holding a fundraising to End Poverty Now. We can help you.
Education Sponsorship Initiative
Your school can build connections with schools abroad. Start a penpal program, receive pictures and stories, or pick items to sponsor through fundraising and other initiatives.
Learn About Poverty and Teach Others
This section of our website provides resources that you can use in your student group or for your students in their daily activities. These include a newsfeed on current events, EPN’s Publications (Journals, Newsletters, Podcasts) as well as a general resource page. We work hard to provide students with ways to become involved in poverty-alleviation ventures and we would love to work with you in establishing ideas and campaigns for action.
